Our Process

How we complete the sealcoating of your driveway:

  • When the crew arrives, they will knock on your door to make sure your cars have been moved and let you know they are there.
  • Our crew will use a high powered gas blower to remove any loose debris and sweep your driveway using a heavy duty broom.
  • Our crew will prime any oil or gas spots and edge your driveway. If you have any overgrown bushes, scrubs or ivy they will do their best to go either under or around them.) They will also fill the cracks agreed upon (crack filling charged per linear foot).
  • Our crew will then apply an evenly layered coating of asphalt sealant. It will dry to a black finish and protect your driveway from damage caused by weather, gas, and oil spills.
  • Once the sealcoating is completed, our crew will block off your driveway to traffic and let you know that the job has been completed and collect your payment.

Things that you should know:
  • Your driveway will be dry enough to walk on in approximately 24 hours.
  • You can put your vehicles back on the driveway after 48 hours. It takes approximately 24 hours for the sealer to cure.
  • If your pet should get sealer on their paws while the driveway is still wet, rinse the paws with water as soon as possible.
  • No one needs to be home for us to seal your driveway (as long as the driveway is clear of any obstructions).

Preparing your driveway to be sealcoated:
  • You will need to move your cars the night before or the morning of your appointment.
  • If you wish to increase the overall quality of the driveway sealing job, you can rinse your driveway the night before by hosing it down with water. This will allow the sealer to adhere to the surface better. (Note: This is not mandatory as our crew will be blowing your driveway with a high powered gas blower to remove any loose debris. However, your decision to rinse your driveway will only improve the effectiveness of the sealcoating).
  • Make sure to turn off your automatic sprinkler system if you have one.
  • Please remove any basketball hoops, large flower pots, furniture, or any other items that would hinder the sealcoating of your driveway. If you are unable to do this we will put them to the side of your driveway as a last resort.
  • Please trim any bushes that may be hanging over your driveway so we can provide 100% coverage.
